PG Baseball's instructors all have extensive playing, coaching and teaching backgrounds. Prerequisites for all PG Baseball instructors include a minimum playing level of collegiate baseball, each one has to currently be a teacher and they have to had previously coach at least high school baseball. I feel it is very important for them to have a present teaching background so they can each relate to the generation at hand. I have trained each individual trainer and they all use the same verbage and similar tactics in order to create mechanical skill. Unlike other baseball programs, we brainstorm and speak with each other consistently to make sure each player is truly understanding what we are teaching as trainers. By using the same verbage across the board, it eliminates the chance of a player becoming confused by words they are not accustomed to hearing, which is a major problem when people jump from trainer to trainer. As long as your schedule permits, each player will have their own personal baseball trainer and stick with that person for as long as you would like. We take pride in creating a comfortable environment that is condusive to learning and each kid that comes through the door will learn and have fun while they do it. The players we train do not only learn how to do what is needed, they also learn why it is done that way and how their body creates those movements that are necessary for success.

As PG Baseball's owner I take a ton of pride in making sure every player leaves me with much smoother mechanics, an understanding of what we are doing, an extremely high level knowledge base and that they are on the path to success now and for the rest of their career. After almost a decade in this business I can confidently say that there is no stone left unturned when I train a player and that you will notice a positive change more quickly than you could have ever imagined. I challenge myself to get your son or daughter to a level that they didn't even know was there. Each player that I train not only leaves a much better player, but they exit with a mental toughness and thinking process that can be carried into every aspect of life.

Shawn was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 7th round of the 1998 draft as a lefty power hitting 1st baseman. He had a very productive minor league career which included a trip to the Class A All-Star Game and a memorable home run off of the Boston Red Sox's Josh Beckett. After his pro-ball career ended, Shawn spend several years as a personal trainer for high level athletes in which he focused on building strength, agility and speed. In the interim, he received his physical education/health degree and now teaches and coaches at Monroe Township High School in NJ. A little known fact about Shawn is that he was not only a dominant hitter throughout his career, but he was also a well know hurler throughout high school in Northwest Jersey.

Jarred is arguably the most dominant player ever to come out of Monroe High School. After putting up astronomical numbers at Monroe he went on to play for Rutgers and legendary coach Fred Hill for the next four years. After a very successful division 1 collegiate career Jarred has decided to join my instructional staff at PG Baseball.
